Hi Diana, Zen writer Ou Baholyodhin reckons that she could fit all her possessions into a suitcase. I don’t believe her for a minute – after all, where does she put the furniture? But I take her point about making an effort to pare things down to their essentials in order to bring about more clarity. Easier said than done of course…
I can agree wholeheartedly but I’ve always been a minimalist. There are those wired differently, where collecting things are seen as enriching, either that or opportunities to use in another creative endeavour such as the fine artist’s. And that I must respect, though my own life with less clutter is indubitably happier. Want to help me clean out my attic? LOL
